What do you think?

It’s an ‘aye’ from me!

Not least because belt tension is vital in 3D printers, as I wrote here: https://bit.ly/2PA01yd

Clavis has developed a closed-loop system.

This measures, monitors and accurately controls the belt tension process from start to finish.

The FourierBMS closed-loop system is designed to automatically achieve and maintain the optimum target tension of a belt under tension.

The system is perfect for Industry 4.0 setups, or where no human input is needed.

Vibrations, drops, spills, extreme temperatures…

Even rough handling.

The Type 13 SR (Super Rugged) Belt Meter is designed to withstand them all.

If you are cold climate testing in the Arctic Circle or maintaining a battalion of armoured fighting vehicles like some of our customers, then the only meter to choose is the Type 13 SR.

The demand for companies to reach the best decisions based on real-time data insights have never been greater.

In our free and exclusive webinar on March 25 at 11am GMT, you can see how Clavis’ FourierBMS belt measurement system achieves this.

It’s designed to interact not only with operators and engineers, but also other systems and subsystems.

Great resource here, from Stefan Hamacher.

This brings to mind Clavis’ own Type 4 Belt Frequency Meter with an optical sensor head.

It’s shown to outperform competing measurement systems on larger industrial belts, like the Gates Predator Belt.

There’s a reason why Clavis’s Gusto Titanium is used by automotive manufacturers worldwide.

The tough little 100 per cent aluminium box is designed for “error-proof” hose installation, and can safely release clamps in vehicles with a 98.8% True Positive rate.

This takes liability from the operator. Download the brochure here:

Did you know, all EPAS units produced by the five major manufacturers – ZF, Nexteer, JTEKT, Mando and Hitachi – have their belt tension measured by Clavis technology, the FourierBMS.

For more about our FourierBMS, and its closed loop system that accurately measures, monitors and controls the belt tension measurement process from start to finish, watch the video below:

Clavis’ FourierBMS belt measurement system is used for quality assurance on production lines around the world.

But don’t take our word for it — you can see why for yourself in our free and exclusive webinar on March 25 at 11am GMT.

Join Pavlos Sgardelis, product specialist at Clavis, and Mark Errington, director at Clavis, as they show you how the FourierBMS takes accurate belt measurements like no other system, with the utmost quality and repeatability.

Nice to see the temperature-controlled supply chain doing its part to be more #ecofriendlyhttps://bit.ly/3chlDar

Dependable performance in belt-drive refrigeration units will be crucial to this — and so will our belt tension measurement technologies.

Do you need an extra pair of ears, or an extra pair of eyes?

That’s a question our customers face when deciding which type of sensor head they need to measure their belt tension. Optical or acoustic sensor heads suit different environments.

In my latest blog, I explain which could be best for you.
