Wireless Breaking Torque Wrench System
Wireless Breaking Torque Wrench System – Torque range from 0.4 to 200 Nm.
Clavis has developed a wireless torque wrench system to use in a production environment that enables full traceability of the unit and reduces the chance of over-tightening. The breaking torque wrench can be used for a wide range of applications, with a choice of compatible interchangeable end fittings. Their durable yet compact design makes them easy to use in restricted spaces in any manufacturing or maintenance environment.

Accurate process control is ensured by reducing the risk of under and over tightening, due to unique Breaking Technology. This gives the operator more time to react once the target torque is reached.
The communication between the tool and receiver; two-way communication 433/868/915 MHz, Wi-Fi 2.4 – 5GHz, or Bluetooth communication.
This maximises productivity in restricted space applications.
A range of interchangeable end fittings is available, making this an extremely versatile tool.
Tools can be used with confidence by operators at any skill level, due to the unique Breaking Technology.
Increased operator comfort and productivity, from the ergonomic design, that includes lightweight materials and moulded plastic handgrip.
High quality, robust design and construction minimise tool replacement and downtime costs.
Receiver
Each complete system consists of a wireless radio breaking torque wrench, a receiver, and a charger. The tool “pairs” with a receiver by transmitting Ultra High Frequency (UHF) radio data (868 MHz) or WIFI (2.4 – 5 GHz) every 3 seconds containing battery status and channel information. The tool/receivers have 64 available channels within this frequency range and have an operating distance of approx. 15 meters.
FEATURES
- LED Status Indicators – The receiver has several LEDs that indicates various tool states; low battery, tool present, radio carrier light to show a tool is within range and transmitting, and an indication that a clamp has been successfully detected.
- Output Signal – An error-proofing (poka-yoke) output for connection to the production line tracking systems. Two default “triggers”; 24v free contact, RS232 serial or Ethernet TCP/IP connection. This provides traceability of each vehicle set by the Gusto tool.
- Light Stack – Output for a light stack to indicate tool present, low battery and clamp released.
- Channels – 64 available radio channels within the 433/868/915 MHz or Wi-Fi 2.4 – 5 GHz channel band.
